Ivan Greenaway is a Director of Adapto South Atlantic and leads Adapto’s operations in the United Kingdom. With nearly two decades of experience delivering IT services across the UK, he has established a strong track record of providing dependable, well-structured technology services aligned to operational requirements.

Before entering the technology sector, Ivan served for 20 years in the British Army. That experience continues to shape his professional approach, bringing discipline, resilience and a clear focus on standards and accountability. He remains engaged in supporting the armed forces community through charitable and local initiatives.

Through his leadership of Adapto in the UK, Ivan has overseen the delivery of IT strategy, infrastructure and managed services to organisations operating in regulated and commercially demanding environments. His work is grounded in practical implementation and sustained operational oversight.

At Adapto South Atlantic, Ivan provides strategic direction, governance oversight and technical leadership, ensuring that the organisation benefits from both strong local delivery and established UK capability.

Marika McKay

Falkland Islands

Marika McKay is a Director of Adapto South Atlantic and has lived and worked in the Falkland Islands for over 22 years. She brings more than a decade of leadership experience across retail management and executive operations, contributing strong commercial awareness and practical business understanding.

Marika has led commercial retail operations, managed supplier networks, controlled budgets and worked closely with senior leadership teams. Her background spans fast-paced retail environments through to senior management roles, giving her a well-rounded understanding of how organisations function at every level and where operational or structural vulnerabilities can arise.

Having built her career within the Falkland Islands, Marika offers direct insight into the realities of operating in a small, closely connected business community. She understands the pressures local organisations face, including supply constraints, resource limitations and the reputational considerations that come with working in a tight-knit market.

At Adapto South Atlantic, Marika provides commercial oversight and operational perspective, helping ensure that services are delivered with clarity, practicality and an understanding of the local context.

Andrew Rae

Andrew Rae

United Kingdom

Andrew Rae is a Director of Adapto South Atlantic and a senior cyber security professional with more than 25 years’ experience across academia and industry. His work has focused on information risk management, governance frameworks and the development of structured security approaches within complex and regulated environments.

Andrew has contributed to national cyber resilience initiatives, serving on a regional steering board of the UK Home Office–supported Cyber Resilience Centres and participating in working groups within the IoT Security Foundation. He has also been a member of the UK Research and Innovation College for the Future Leaders Fellowships, contributing specialist cyber security expertise to emerging sector programmes.

He is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Information Security and holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Cyber Security. In his current role as Security Director within a UK enterprise, Andrew leads cyber and information security strategy in support of secure and resilient infrastructure programmes, including initiatives linked to decarbonisation and smart infrastructure development.

At Adapto South Atlantic, Andrew provides board-level cyber oversight, governance expertise and strategic assurance, ensuring that security and resilience are embedded within the organisation’s services.

Simon Verrechia

Falkland Islands

Simon Verrechia is a Director of Adapto South Atlantic and has lived and worked in the Falkland Islands for more than seven years. He is the founder of a locally established technology services business and brings over 30 years’ experience across engineering and technical service environments.

Simon began his career in biomedical and electronic engineering within the NHS before progressing into senior service management roles in the United Kingdom. His experience includes leading technical teams, managing service contracts, overseeing capital equipment programmes and developing compliant engineering functions aligned to UK regulatory standards. His work has focused on systems reliability, regulated environments and operational continuity.

Since relocating to the Falkland Islands, Simon has applied this engineering-led approach within both public and commercial settings. As Senior Biomedical Engineer at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, he strengthened and developed the Islands’ biomedical engineering function, bringing it into closer alignment with UK standards while supporting clinical infrastructure, capital procurement and emergency response operations. Through his own business, he continues to provide technical support across a range of systems and infrastructure within the local community.

At Adapto South Atlantic, Simon leads local delivery and client engagement in the Falkland Islands, ensuring that services remain practical, accountable and grounded in the operational realities of the region.
